Dandelion Dyed Silk Chiffon Scarf

This brilliant green scarf is dyed with dandelion flowers and leaves.  All plants we use for dye are organically grown and processed on our farm, single source dye farm, farm grown color.  This scarf is made from pure silk chiffon, is lightweight, like a feather floating on the wind.  It measures 14" x 62".  A very powerful liver cleanser, a blood purifier, diuretic, and a wonderful bitter and digestive aid.  I think of this plant's incredible ability to grow in the most unlikely places, to thrive where one would not think possible.  For me, the spirit of the Dandelion plant is in it's courage to thrive even when it seems like all is against it, it's perseverance is so steadfast.  As a dye it creates soft yellows which after dipped in indigo give amazing shades of green.  Wearing fibers dyed with plants is a wonderful way to wear your medicine, to remember the healing connection we have with plants.
